The sculpture, called “Balance of Life,” depicts a school of grouper spiraling up the obelisk towards the sky. Created by Colorado artist, Joshua Wiener, it was installed in the roundabout on Galloway and SW 168 Street in Palmetto Bay in the spring of 2011, and includes a water feature. Joshua says the obelisk is “about the relationship between government and the natural world.”
