Miami ranks #34 on Bicycling Magazine’s “America’s Top 50 Bike-Friendly Cities.” I know a lot of Miami cyclists will argue that we shouldn’t be on the Top 50 at all, but Bicycling had this to say in our favor:
Claims to Fame: Bright spots include four hundred new sharrow markings and 200 bike racks, a $4.5-million bike-ped bridge that completed the 31-mile M-Path-South Dade cross-county trail, and plans to expand the Miami Beach bike share. The city’s most famous cyclist: NBA star LeBron James.
