It’s a Small World

This week’s challenge from PhotoChallenge.org was to use an app to create “bizarre little planet like perspectives” from panoramic or 360 images. For me, the added challenge was how to show off our downtown Miami lifestyle with the “tiny planet” concept. In the photo above, while the sky was a bit grey and overcast, the iconic Freedom Tower stands out and makes the downtown Miami skyline immediately recognizable. Below are my other favorites.

This one is a view towards the Performing Arts District and Edgewater neighborhood from PortMiami. I think the combination of skyscrapers, the blue waters of Biscayne Bay and lush green of our tree canopy highlight some of what makes living in downtown Miami so attractive.

And here is a photo of the sign at Bayside Marketplace on Biscayne Blvd. Perhaps not the best “tiny planet” from a technical perspective, the people in the middle made me laugh out loud… the perfect advertisement for a bayfront shopping center.
